THE EXPERIENCE

“Crown Shyness” is one of the first releases from bassist and composer Brandon Miller and his band, ANSWERS. Brandon and I did many sessions together prior to this (many of which are part of this credits rundown) and this was the first time we worked on something for a personal project. Live drums were recorded at The Spot in Orlando, FL.

Brandon’s original works are written for chamber groups and art composer with specific directions that help shape the improvisational approach. I decided to go heavy and dry for drum sounds on this one. You can listen to this song and all the records I’ve been a part of on the playlist below!
