Gerald Law II & The Clutch hit the road to celebrate the release of Law’s newest album, Who We Are. The project shares a message of humanity first through empathy and connection. The story of the album is told through the lens of many collaborators and Law is bringing that spirit of collaboration to the stage. The touring group features his trio with Arthur Brown III on piano and Daven-Roy Llewellyn on bass. If you’ve seen Law over the last year or so, you’ve seen him pay tribute to many voices and trailblazers that have paved the way for him. Continuing in this fashion, you can expect to hear sounds influenced by the likes of Max Roach, Art Blakey, Brian Blade, Nat King Cole, Stevie Wonder, Jill Scott, Robert Glasper, Erykah Badu, Common, and Luther Vandross, to name a few.
